Going Vertical

Footings and foundations have wrapped up onsite allowing DHE and Feyen Zylstra the opportunity to install all required underground mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEPs) utilities throughout the building. Kent Companies has completed the independent living slab-on-grade, allowing Fair & Square Construction to begin vertical construction using prefabricated wood panels and trusses for that wing. Integrated Exteriors is wrapping up the concrete masonry unit (CMU) installation with the completion of a stair tower next week. Meanwhile, Van Dellen Steel installed some miscellaneous steel using a crane for the independent living wing and has now moved to the assisted living wings. The EV Sitework team is finishing up site development with overall grading and construction of gravel roads and paths throughout the site to alleviate muddy working conditions during this rainy spring.
